Wathen Marine has been manufacturing the JEM 30 boiler in our Workshop on the South Coast of England for over 5 years.
With members of the Wathen team from the old Kempsafe days, the units are now available in two voltages: 440 volts 3phase, and 440 volts single phase.
Manufactured in the UK via various outlets, the JEM 30 Boiler has been around for decades and is a very user-friendly piece of equipment. It is built to last in some of the harshest conditions, and designed to be constantly operational. The JEM 30 Boiler is used by various Naval Fleets all over the world.
The boiler itself is made from 316 Stainless Steel to ensure a long product life span. Some are still in operation some 30 years after manufacture!
The JEM 30 expansion boilers are electrically heated and are designed to provide a continuous supply of hot water at the following maximum rate:
Boiling water available for rapid draw-off after preheating is 23 litres, then 36.5 litres continuously per hour.*
